Judging Criteria
The tournament consists of solo qualifying runs and tandem battles. Each is judged using specific criteria to ensure fairness and consistency.
Qualifying is optional and will be implemented at the discretion of the tournament organizers.
Solo Run Scoring (100-Point Scale)
Each qualifying run is scored out of a maximum of 100 points, divided into three key categories: Line, Angle, and Style. All drivers are judged by the same criteria, ensuring a universal standard of evaluation. Judges will brief competitors on the specific track layout, including the designated drift line and clipping points/zones, before the tournament. Scoring starts at 100 points, and deductions are applied for mistakes.
Scoring Categories
Line (60 points max)
- Drivers must adhere to the designated drift line defined in the drivers' briefing.
- Clipping points and zones must be accurately targeted.
- Deviation from the ideal line results in deductions.
Angle (20 points max)
- Drivers must maintain the correct drift angle for different track sections.
- Over-rotating or going beyond the optimal required angle will result in deductions.
- Inconsistent angles, corrections, or shallow drifts will result in deductions.
Style (20 points max)
- Judges assess initiation techniques, smoothness of transitions, and overall commitment.
- Fluid and aggressive driving that demonstrates control will be rewarded.
- Hesitation, wobbling, or lack of commitment leads to deductions.
